Mentor & Apprentice System

The Mentor & Apprentice System is designed to increase the interaction among players and it enables veterans to gain rewards by helping out newbies. Meanwhile, under the guidance of the mentor, apprentices can gain more help to level up faster.

Mentor Intro:
Players who don’t have a mentor and have reached level 50+, or have completed their apprenticeship can enter the Mentor & Apprentice interface through the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, as shown below:

The interface for players who have reached level 50+ and don’t have a mentor to apply to be a mentor:

The interface for players who have completed their apprenticeship and have been qualified for becoming a mentor:

After you apply to be a mentor, you can see the mentor interface, as shown below:

After entering the interface, you can find the Apprentice Candidates and add the players you like to be your apprentices, and you can also find players applying to be your apprentices on the lower right corner and accept or decline their applications. Each mentor can have 5 apprentices at most by default, and you can use the Dragon Gold or Dragon Stone to increase the upper limit of apprentices to 10 at most.

After becoming a mentor, you can obtain the Medal of Enlightenment through grinding monsters. Click the "Enlighten" button behind an apprentice to enlighten him/her. Each Medal of Enlightenment can bring some experience points which will vary with the level of apprentice to the apprentice and increase the intimacy between the apprentice and you. There is no limit to the enlightenment times every day, but the EXP and intimacy that can be gained from the enlightenment will decrease along with the increase of the enlightenment times, and will restore to their normal state at 0:00 of the next day. You can also challenge instances together with the apprentice to increase your intimacy. The mentor can click the "Expel" button behind an apprentice to expel him/her at any time. Once the apprentice is expelled, your intimacy with this apprentice will reduce to zero. When an apprentice reaches level 50, he/she can decide whether to complete the apprenticeship and apply for becoming a mentor. If the apprenticeship is completed, the mentor will be informed with a mail.

In addition, you can obtain corresponding achievement when your apprentices who have completed their apprenticeship achieve a certain quantity.

Apprentice Intro:
You can apply to be an apprentice at any lvl between 1-49, to apply click the "Mentor", you can click the "Mentor & Apprentice" button under the "Social" tab on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen to enter the mentor & apprentice system interface, and then click "Apply to be an apprentice" button as shown below:

Once you click the "Apply To Be Apprentice" button, the list of available mentors will turn up. On the left panel, players who invite you to be their apprentice will be shown. If you are not invited by any mentor, please come back and check later, or choose a mentor from the mentor list on the right. You can also search a player you are familiar with to be your mentor through the search function, as shown below:

After successfully joining a mentor, you will enter the apprentice management interface, where claimable gift packs and list of apprentices under the same mentor with you will be displayed. When you reach the requirements for claiming the reward, click the "Claim" button on the upper left corner to claim corresponding reward. You can also choose the "Force Complete" button to complete the apprenticeship forcedly and claim another mentor. Once the operation is done, your intimacy with this mentor will reduce to zero and you cannot claim other mentor until 48 hours later. When your level reaches 50, the "Force Complete" button will change to "Complete" button, through which you can complete your apprenticeship proudly, as shown below:

After becoming an apprentice, you can gain some EXP (the EXP will vary with your level) and 10 intimacy points through the Medal of Enlightenment from your mentor.
